Crime Scene Identification Systems

The basis for crime scene identification is the preservation of the scene. (SIAG)’s standards and principles regarding the preservation of the crime scene are foremost. Everything is photographed, recorded, documented in strict regulatory compliance thereby ensuring that nothing can obstruct or compromise the efforts of the (SIAG) investigators.

(SIAG) provide a systematic approach for our crime scene investigators to establish and maintain working practices in the field of crime scene examination that will deliver reliable records of the crime scene in overview and detail, maximizing the quality of the recovery and collecting procedures, and produce robust evidence. Dependent on the crime scene, the volume of samples taken for forensic analysis will differ as some will require complex multiple DNA or fingerprint analysis along with other unknown articles and samples requiring forensic analysis and identification.
